I’m researching my family history and I was told by my grandmother that Williaim (Willie) Dempsy and Sallie Dempsy from (Scotland Neck) Halifax County, NC were her grandparent. The description of them sound correct. I don’t know anyone from my grandmother’s side (Dempsy and Arrington family) of the family but one person. My grandmother recently passed away and now I’m at a dead end. Please help! Thanks.
Approximately when did your grandmother’s grandparents live?
Thanks for replying -late 1800’s some census are showing around 1896 and 1880’s.
