N.B.: In fact, Delilah Exum’s parents were Solomon Williams and Vicey Artis. She was a sister of Adam T. Artis.

Raiford Brewington was a Chief of the Coharie Indian Tribe of North Carolina. M.A. Manuel, Enoch Manuel and the remainder of the Manuel Family were also members of the Coharie Indian Tribe that still exists to this day.
Yes, many of Raiford Brewington and Michael Manuel’s descendants are Coharie. Others identify as African-American. Thanks for taking the time to comment on my blog!
